Join us for an interactive and empowering workshop designed to help high school students unlock funding opportunities for post-secondary education.
In this session, you’ll learn how scholarships and grants can significantly reduce the cost of university or college—and how to position yourself as a strong candidate. We’ll break down the different types of funding available, where to find them, and the key strategies that help applications stand out. You’ll also gain perspective on how self-discovery, decision-making, and exploring options like a gap year can support your long-term success.
Hear directly from Hannah Alli, a Schulich Leader who has been awarded over $155,000 in scholarships, alongside Kyle Cleveland, Education Advisor with experience in both college and university settings, Michelle Dittmer of CanGap, and Gina Faubert, founder of the Radiant Girls Leadership Foundation and youth coach.

The GLOW Event: Wellness & Self Leadership.
Growth, Love, Ownership, and Wellness.
The GLOW Event is designed to help girls step into self-leadership by building strength from the inside out—mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Through a powerful blend of movement, mindset, and self-awareness, girls learn how to take ownership of their well-being and make choices that support their confidence, energy, and resilience.
Our day includes movement, leadership games, and confidence building activities. Girls are guided through positive self-talk, mindfulness practices, visualization, and relaxation techniques to support emotional balance and mental clarity.
Through coaching, journaling, and meaningful group conversations, girls explore topics such as self-esteem, body image, stress, and anxiety—while gaining practical tools to navigate challenges with confidence and self-trust.
The GLOW Event creates a supportive and empowering environment where girls learn to lead themselves with strength, compassion, and intention—developing lifelong habits that support their health, well-being, and personal growth.

Building a Foundation for Success.
Designed to help girls build confidence and stay grounded and resilient during their most formative years. This interactive virtual club equips girls with the tools to navigate social media, manage stress, and uncover their unique passions through professional group coaching.
Through engaging activities, practical life skills, and inspiring coaching, your girl will develop self-esteem, discover her unique passions and strengths, and feel equipped to face life’s challenges with confidence. The program also features youth coaches who share their personal stories, advice, and tips on everything from building healthy friendships and navigating social media to exploring career opportunities and managing stress.
Each session focuses on themes that matter to both girls and parents, such as self-care, confidence-building, setting boundaries, and making positive choices. Throughout the program, we’ll be joined by empowering special guests who are relatable role models, offering motivation and encouragement. These guests will share inspiring stories that remind girls they have the power to achieve their dreams while staying true to who they are.

The Dreaming Big Academy: Strategic Planning for Teens.
A high-level virtual program for teens (13+) ready to transition into leadership. We provide practical support for university applications, resume creation, and scholarship essays, combined with personality testing to align their passions with future career goals.
In this dynamic program, teens will dive into career options that excite them and understand what steps they need to take to pursue those dreams. Whether it’s selecting the right academic streams, seeking out volunteer opportunities, or engaging in extracurricular activities, teens will gain valuable insights into how to move forward. The program also provides practical support with university application essays, scholarship options, and resume creation.
With a focus on goal setting, decision-making, and motivation skills, teens will learn to turn their dreams into actionable steps. Activities such as personality tests, dream boards, journaling, art projects, group discussions, and sessions with special guest experts and career coaches make this a comprehensive and engaging experience for teens ready to investigate their potential and create a plan for their future.

Nutrition & Emotional Wellness.
More than a cooking class — this is an exploration of the link between Food and Mood. Girls learn teen-tested nutritious recipes while discussing body image, healthy habits, and the connection between diet and mental focus.
Along with preparing delicious and nutritious lunch options that they can take to school the next day, the girls will be exposed to trying new foods, and kid friendly cooking techniques.
Culinary Queens will also include discussions around healthy meals, food & mood, dieting issues, and body image pressure.
Classes will be held live through Zoom. Participants will receive a shopping list and kitchen equipment suggestions before our program starts.Recipes will be safe and easy to prepare and will include common easy to find ingredients, using common kitchen items. For special/unique options we’ll provide demonstrations instead.
Girls are expected to be able to reach the kitchen taps without a stool, know how to hold a small knife, and turn on the stove/oven prior to class. Parents are required to be home during class – but they are not required to supervise.

Resilience & Emotional Intelligence (EQ).
Equipping girls to navigate anxiety, academic pressure, and mood swings with grace. This PA Day intensive combines Yoga, Mindfulness, and NLP-based coaching with hands-on self-care rituals to create a lasting “Inner Calm“.
Through hands-on spa DIY activities, she’ll create her own calming spa products—masks, scrubs, bath bombs, and more—designed to help her relax and unwind. Along with these creative projects, she’ll explore yoga, mindfulness, and meditation techniques that can improve her mental focus and bring calm to her day.
The series also includes coaching discussions on emotional intelligence, healthy self-image, and self-care rituals, giving her the tools to take care of her mind and body. Special guest speakers will introduce holistic techniques tailored specifically for girls, helping her build the inner strength to manage stress and confidently navigate life’s challenges. It’s more than just a glow-up—it’s a chance for her to develop resilience, confidence, and lasting self-care habits.

The Power of Positive Connections.
This specialized girls-event like no other! Our event will leave girls with a clear understanding of what is required to make it through the drama years. Activities are designed to increase communication, understand trust and respect, how to create healthy boundaries, and how to have hard conversations. Girls will discover the hidden dynamics of popularity, cliques, and followers.
Girls will learn the power of staying true to themselves, how to deal with the pressures of school demands, and how to make peace with girl drama. This fun-filled day includes yoga, team building games, Improv skits, mindful art, girl talk, outdoor fun, and more!

The Family Adventure Race: An Epic Scavenger Hunt for Families!
Get ready for the ultimate family adventure! The Family Adventure Race is an action-packed, create-your-own-adventure scavenger hunt through the vibrant communities of Burlington and Waterdown.
Families will explore the cities, tackle exciting challenges, and engage with local businesses while collecting points for a chance to win amazing prizes!
How It Works:
Throughout the day, teams will complete challenges such as finding art in the city, solving puzzles, performing family tasks, and even completing random acts of kindness. Challenges will be listed with points through the Goosechase app, so teams can strategize which challenges to complete. And don’t worry—every challenge is optional.
The grand finale at Hidden Valley Park will feature a live concert by Brad James, entertainment for the kids, and opportunities for family fun with prizes for the cleverest team name, best family outfit, and more. Expect a festival-like experience with local vendors, food trucks, and even a visit from a fire truck and RCMP horses!
Why Participate
The event also supports Radiant Girls’ empowerment camps for underprivileged girls, with a goal of sending 20 girls to camp this summer. All challenges will be recorded with photos and videos to capture the action, and photographers will be scattered throughout the event to catch the best moments.
